i'm on my way (home).

my, my.
europe has been such fun.

oooooooooo baracuda.

rug reminiscent of hokusai's wave? yes please.

mediocre at best.

today i'm listening to: massive attack - paradise circus

check out this website ----> do it
(if you like cool stuff- it will make your day.)

in the last week
i've been doing the most outrageous things.
when i say them out loud,
it feels like a five star acid trip
with a cast of characters encompassing
music greats,
power players,
movers,
shakers,
and money makers...

and me.

shit, son.
life is SPARKLING.
 wow.
on my way to taking over the world.
oh geez.
so if you want to get on my good side...
now would be the time
:)
ha ha.
pffff.
we all know
i'm more coy than fancy.
but
fortunately/unfortunately
time will tell you
i'm not a braggart
i'm a conceptualist.
cuz things are getting crazy.

oh baby and it HURTS SO GOOD.

look at that
old school panache.

i want to send you.
i want to send you each one of my thoughts.
i want to send you letters--
capital letters
and little scribbled pictures
that you'll never crumple up, of course...
because i've sent them to you.
(you'd save each one to never throw away).

i want to send you.
i want to send you into a tailspin.
i want to send you spinning--
but more dizzy than circular
and reeling in laughter
so that your head goes fuzzy, of course...
because i've sent you.
(you'd save money on alcohol this way).

photorealistic.

today i'm listening to: keane- somewhere only we know

(throwback status)

hey there, gang.

i've flown far far away again.

across the pond.

being fancy in london
with the fanciest folks.

birds of a feather
flocking together?
let's hope so.

let's most seriously hope so.

the following is so genius.
tom waits was asked about his songwriting process and his response floored me.

the creative process according to tom waits:
"every song has a distinctive identity...
there are songs you have to sneak up on,
like you're hunting for a rare bird.
and there are songs that come fully intact
like a dream coming through a straw.
there are songs you find little bits of,
like pieces of gum underneath the desk...
and you scrape them off,
and you put them together,
and you make something out of it.
and there are songs that need to be bullied...
i'll be in the studio working on the song
and the whole album is done
and this one song won't give itself over
and i'll march up and down the studio
and say
'the rest of the family's in the car!
we're all going on vacation!
you comin' along or not?
you got ten minutes
or you're gettin' left behind!
...you gotta shake it down sometimes."

love this headboard made out of a pallet.

word.

take off your shoes and
make the fuck out.
where it is & where you're at.

now THAT'S sporty spice.

let's rollerskate for daysssss.

art is the shit.

here's yet another reason why:

check out these photorealistic paintings.

yes they are PAINTINGS. not PHOTOS.
